Organizing an outdoor event is nothing unusual these days. That’s because, provided the owner of the chosen venue gives consent and the neighbors, health officials, and other relevant authorities have no objections, there’s really nothing standing in the way of organizing such an event. Perhaps the only exceptions are the whims of the weather or other caprices of nature.
And so the organizer makes a decision and puts on whatever they want to put on. There’s no accounting for taste, as they say.
But no matter how simple such an event may seem, that isn’t necessarily the case.
Sure, there’s no need to worry too much about whether there will be enough space for all participants, since there are no walls rigidly limiting the area; sanitation issues can be resolved by bringing in a sufficient number of portable toilets, food stands or party tents and similar shelters are also easy to come by, and any performers usually bring everything they need for their performance themselves.
However, a problem can still arise here. And that is with something that such events can’t do without today, especially if they’re held after dark. And that is the problem called electricity.
Because you can surely imagine how such an event would turn out if it were lit only by the stars and the moon. You can surely guess how the musical performance would turn out if there were nowhere to plug in the electrical equipment, how the refreshments would fare if they had to be prepared on electric hot plates, and how one would manage without the sound system, which is also dependent on electricity. It simply
doesn’t work without power. And the downside of many open-air venues is precisely that there’s no outlet in any bush, no tree is brimming with switches, and so on.
And so, for such an event to succeed, a generator is essential. One
that the event simply cannot do without, and it doesn’t hurt for the organizer to have one even if there is a power connection available, because you never know what might go wrong in the end.
Only with a high-quality generator can an organizer be sure that nothing unforeseen will happen and that there won’t be any power issues. That is, provided the right equipment is chosen—one that produces enough electricity. But there’s no need to worry about that either, because nowadays we have plenty of experts who are capable and willing to offer sound advice.
And then all that’s left is to buy or rent a generator. Both options are available. And thanks to that, the event is guaranteed to be a success.
That is, unless, say, a downpour suddenly starts.
